Devoted young Dodgers fan plays catch with pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu

A future Major League baseball player received a lesson straight from the field this week, when Hyun-Jin Ryu, the pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, played catch with the boy during practice, according to a video.

Dodger Films posted the short video of a young fan known as Deuce throwing a ball with the South Korean pitcher. The little guy has quite an arm and it's earned him quite the memory.

The boy catches every toss, at one point whipping off his ball cap before a big wind-up.

The video has more than 1.4 million views since Dodger Films uploaded it on May 13 and it quickly circulated the Internet, with comments that Deuce's next trip to the stadium certainly can't beat this one.

Only a week ago, another Dodgers player earned praise for his gesture toward a fan with cancer. A video showed outfielder Matt Kemp giving a boy his hat, jersey, cleats and a signed ball after the fan's father had shared that his son was very sick.

"It's just something I felt probably would have cheered him up a little bit," Kemp told Yahoo! Sports writer Tim Brown. "Help him out a little bit. I just did it."
