Drunk woman rams ex’s car into bowling alley where he worked

Claire Holley smashed Davy Jones' Ford Focus through the wall after he dumped her on Facebook

Some people just cry on the couch eating ice cream after a break up, but one mother of three in England was not going to take the news sitting down.

Claire Holley, 31, was not too happy with her boyfriend changing his Facebook status to "single" so she decided to get revenge.

The two had been arguing before she dropped Davy Jones off at the Hollywood Bowl, where he works, at 5 p.m. one day in January.

"She texted asking him not to leave and to come back home," said prosecutor Geoff Whelan in a Daily Mail article. "She had written things on Facebook saying she was heartbroken and crushed."

Jones, who had been with Holley for two years, turned his phone off and didn't respond. He then changed his Facebook status to "single."

Holley, obviously not happy with the online dumping, drank half a bottle of wine and two large vodkas. She left her three children with Jones' sister and by 10 p.m. witnesses say Holley was revving the engine of Jones' car in the parking lot of the bowling alley.

Holley then slammed the car through the double-door entrance sending customers diving for cover.

"There was glass and bumpers and everything everywhere," said Stephanie-Kate Burrell, who witnessed the incident from a car in the parking lot, in a Mirror article. "People bowling all started running out. They were screaming. It was total panic."
Jones ran over to the car saying, "You have wrecked my car," reports the Daily Mail.

Two off-duty cops tried to help Holley, but she bit one and scratched another on the hand. Fortunately no one was seriously injured.

During a recent court appearance, she pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and was banned from driving for 18 months. The judge said she avoided jail time "by the skin of her teeth," reports the Mirror.
