Extreme sledders crash through fence in Romania

With the warmer than normal winter in many parts of Canada, kids haven't had many chances to scare their parents by soaring down snow-covered park hills on pieces of plastic.

Luckily, Romania has snow and people willing to fly down roads.

People are gathered on both sides of the street as three people come shooting down the road on a makeshift sled that barely fits all of them. The trio manages to miss a patch that isn't covered in much snow, but then literally fly over a gap. The person on the back gets bumped off upon landing, but that may have been a good thing for him as the sled crashes through a gate.

Somehow all three riders walk away completely unharmed and even manage to yell about their excitement. Even the sled, which doesn't look like anything one would buy at Canadian Tire, is still in one piece.

Canadians also know a thing or two about filming scary sledding videos. In 2008, Global News reporter Rob Leth was hit by one while filming his stand up for a news story. The sled smacked Leth low on the legs, flipping him almost completely around like a baton. He landed on his back, but managed to grab his microphone and sign off before the cameraman walked over and asked if he was alright.

As for the Romanian sledders, we're not sure what they are saying, but we can only assume that they are taking the sled back to the top of the hill to try it again. At least for future descends, there is already an opening in the fence.
