Fox News anchor does not care that Facebook went down

Facebook had a brief interruption yesterday, for the second time in a week, but not everyone cared.

Fox News anchor Shepard Smith broke the news to the worried public, in the driest way possible.

“Facebook’s down,” the long-time news anchor announced, pausing a moment to let the news sink in.

“So, if you’re all narcissistic and want to share every bit of your life with the world, uh they don’t care anyway, and a few minutes off Facebook will not kill you."

Smith is not new to important, groundbreaking news. Just last week, the chief news anchor and managing editor for the network’s breaking news division attributed the painting of the Mona Lisa to none other than Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

Naturally, social media had a field day.
