Humpback whale breaches metres away from B.C. fishing boat

The young calf soared into the air right in front of people fishing off Tofino

People on a fishing charter out of Tofino, B.C., may have signed up to go fishing, but they also got an amazing whale watching experience. As the video shows, a humpback whale calf breached very close to their boat, landing just metres away.

The video was uploaded by tofinofishing and has been viewed more than 800,000 times.
