Hungry pooch dances for Thanksgiving dinner

No matter how much our neighbours to the south enjoyed their Thanksgiving festivities last night, it's doubtful their family entertainment exceeded the show put on by Sloopy, the rhythmically gifted Chihuahua.

YouTube user Devin Contreras posted video of his adorable pooch literally dancing for his dinner.

"My chihuahua Sloopy, after our thanksgiving meal started dancing for the plate of turkey on the counter! He kept dancing so I put on some Miami Sound Machine and let him get busy!" he writes in the video's intro.

While Contreras does not reveal whether Sloopy's hot-stepping earned him any extra scraps, the little dog did achieve one distinction: This may be the most sublime use of 80s classic "Conga" in history.
