Jimmy Kimmel spoofs Lululemon’s tight clothing with ‘spray-on pants’ ad; Lululemon plays along

It’s good to know a growing company like Lululemon has got a sense of humor.

The company’s extremely tight yoga pants, which are now banned from many schools for being too provocative, were recently spoofed in a commercial created by Jimmy Kimmel.

The fake ad introduces the newest “product” that Kimmel jokes Lululemon has come up with: spray-on yoga pants. The spoof that aired on the show last Thursday night is simply hilarious.

However, instead of taking offence and responding with a potential lawsuit like other companies might have done, the Vancouver-based yoga-wear company laughed it off, and even played along with Kimmel's joke.

They responded in jest by adding the new “spray-on yoga pants” to their website, pitching them “as seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

The ad lists the pants at a hefty cost of $1,200 because you can get 1,200 pairs of pants out of each can. That’s a dollar per pair, what a steal!

The fake ad also includes pictures of the Pledge-like can being sprayed along a woman’s leg, and just like in Kimmel’s spoof, Lululemon boasts that the new spray-on pants fit like a “second skin.”

Obviously, theses new spray-on pants are “out of stock” as they truly do not exist. If you watch the spoof though, you’ll get a good laugh out of imagining if they actually did! Good for Lululemon for not being so sour about the whole gag.
