Jumpy the dog’s amazing tricks make the pooch famous online

A dog trainer's video showcasing one of his student's rather human talents, including skateboarding, is making the pooch famous online.

In a video lasting only one minute and 9 seconds, Jumpy the dog does a whole range of stunts, from long-range leaps to impressive balancing acts.

Omar von Muller from the dog training company Miami Off-Leash posted the video, according to the name on the YouTube account.

The website advertises training for badly behaved dogs.

"We will transform your uncontrollable dog into a dog that you can live with!" it says. I recommend amending that last clause to say they'll transform your dog into a pet fit for the circus.

The video has been viewed more than 60,000 times since it was uploaded on March 28, with many commenters expressing amazement at the dog's range of tricks.

Jumpy's talents extend to weaving through pylons on two legs, wake boarding, back flips, even skateboarding over ramps.

"Yes, but can he do my laundry?" one commenter noted.

Well, let's not push it.

Omar von Muller's online profile says his fascination with animal training began when he was a child. It says he tried to train chickens, pigeons and rabbits as well as dogs and cats.

I think I speak for everyone when I say his next video should showcase a pigeon on a skateboard.
