Knife-wielding crab proves it’s more than just claws in viral video

If you’re looking for the formula to make a viral video hit, all you need is a critter holding or carrying something it’s not supposed to. Just see pizza rat as a prime example.

The latest viral sensation is a Brazilian crustacean with too much bravado. The sideways-moving crab is wielding a knife in one of its claws.

In the 36-second video, the little critter is seen crawling along the baseboards of a room, as it swings a knife at a man trying to crab, er, grab it.

The video cuts off before there’s any indication of a battle.

“You think you live in a bad neighborhood,” wrote one YouTube commenter.

“He almost seems aware of the knife as a weapon,” wrote another.

The crab’s fate remains unknown. But this isn’t the first time a Brazilian crustacean has been captured on video armed and ready to fight. Just last month, a crab went viral in Brazil for similar reasons.
