Marijuana pipe found in Burger King kid’s meal

A grandfather at a Burger King in Michigan this week found a toy that didn't seem to belong in his four-year-old grandson's kid's meal, according to police: a pot pipe filled with marijuana.

The local CBS affiliate reported a grandfather on vacation with his family in Dundee, Michigan picked up a Burger King but when his grandson opened the box containing his meal, he received an early introduction to recreational drugs.

After the grandfather called police, a Burger King employee admitted to hiding the pipe in the bag while he was working, according to Monroe News.

His decision-making skills might have been a bit hazy.

The grandfather also saw the employee walk out to a car in the parking lot, according to Toledo News Now. He gave police a description of the vehicle, which led police to find more drugs in the car and charge three suspects for possessing drug paraphernalia.

Surprisingly, this isn't the first instance of a child finding drugs in a kid's meal. An 8-year-old in Ottawa, Ill. found a bag of marijuana and a lighter in her Happy Meal in 2007, according to Fox News.

The 17-year-old employee lost his job and police charged him for possessing drugs.

Next time, under the counter might be a better hiding place.
