Several weather forecasters across the United States did their best to pay tribute to a legendary artist who passed away last week.

In a YouTube video uploaded by News Be Funny Videos, Prince’s lyrics and song titles are used to describe weather conditions, with many of the anchors telling viewers to keep an eye out for ‘Purple Rain.’

On the flip side, sunnier locations were informed that it would be a perfect time to get out for a spin in a ‘Little Red Corvette,’ but as its still spring, it would be advisable to also bring a ‘Raspberry Beret’ if you’re going to have the top down.

Mike Everett of Storm Tracker 13 has one of the best scripts, when he begins discussing the high winds in the mountainous Wolf Creek Pass, which he cites as making a sound “like when doves cry”.
