In what can only be described as a quintessentially Canadian moment, a moose was photographed patiently waiting by the back door of a Tim Hortons.

The image was posted to Reddit on Tuesday by user TimberBucket under the rather obvious caption, “A Moose waiting by the back door of a local Tim Hortons yesterday in Canada.”

One commenter was quick to point out that it was unnecessary, “to include the phrase ‘in Canada’. It was understood.”

It wasn’t the only zinger the image inspired. The ever-insightful Imgur community wasted no time throwing down pithy one-liners in the comments section.

Some got mock-political: “I dream of a day that moose can use the front door.”

The majority just couldn’t resist poking fun at how ‘Canadian’ the image is:

“’I’m sorry’ - Moose, probably.”

“He’s even waiting politely to be let in.”

“The Mounties caught it with a snare made of a hockey net and lured it using kraft dinner and maple syrup.”

This isn’t the first moose sighting at a Tim Hortons. Last year a man found a baby moose stranded by the road and decided to bring it to the local Tim Hortons near Sudbury, Ont.
