Motorcyclist crashes into the back of a car, but sticks the landing

It's the stuff action movies are made of.

A motorcycle is speeding down a highway. A sedan pulls into the passing lane. The two collide.

Somehow the lucky rider manages to flip through the air, Spider-Man-style, and land on the car's roof, seemingly unharmed, leaving his totalled bike behind.

"Crashes suck. But this is one of the few times where a bike-on-car collision turns into art. It's like Cirque du Soleil performed in the Matrix and splashed with a side of Jackass," writes Jalopnik's Damon Lavrinc.

The viral dashcam-captured scene – with a July 30 date stamp – was originally posted online with no description. LiveLeak claims the accident occurred in Mahilyow, Belarus. And Jalopnik reports it happened in Russia on a bridge near Koroleva.

Think it's odd that someone with a dashcam was there to record the crazy incident?

Well, according to a 2012 Al Jazeera report, about one million Russian motorist have installed dashboard cams in their cars, mostly to protect themselves from corrupt police.

Earlier this summer in Florida, a man was thrown from his motorcycle – and landed on his feet. He walked away from the crash unharmed.

We also shared the story of another perfect landing.

In early June, a fighter jet's landing gear malfunctioned. The pilot's only option: to land the aircraft on a stool.

Watch that landing below.
