Move over Miley: Girl’s twerking malfunction is both funny and scary

Move aside Miley Cyrus, this woman's twerking performance is on fire.

A video uploaded by Caitlin Heller this week that began as a dance performance and ended in disaster has been viewed more than 642,000 times on YouTube.

"I tried making a sexy twerk video for my boyfriend and things got a little too hot :)," Heller wrote in the video description.

In the footage, Heller shakes her booty for the camera before moving into what I believe the experts call an upside-down-door-twerk — and that's when the situation becomes dangerous.

Her roommate opens the door she is leaning on, tipping her onto a table with an open bottle of liquor and several lit candles.

After hearing her smash into the table and scream in terror, the caption mostly provides relief to viewers that this twerker appears to have survived the ball of fire that engulfed her leggings.

Oxford Online Dictionaries added twerk to the dictionary last month after a controversial performance of the move by Miley Cyrus at the MTV Video Music Awards. Perhaps Oxford needs to revise the definition to include the words "potentially fatal."

One commenter joked Heller probably should have stopped, twerked and rolled.
