Must-See Videos of the Week: May 19-23

A GoPro time-lapse shot on board G Adventures' M/S Expedition during the Antarctic season 2013-2014. Directed and Edited by Expedition Staff Lauren Farmer and Alex Cowan. Music by Greg Thomas and Pete Valeo. Featuring some stunning sights!

This week's must-see videos take you to faraway places and document harrowing tales of survival. We've also got a baby dancing to all the hits, a light show in the sky and teenagers taking polar bear selfies, so whatever your pleasure, there's some video goodness in here for you.

We begin with an incredible timelapse video that takes us to Antarctica. Spot the whales and frigid Artic waves in this GoPro-shot video, and be sure to watch until the end for a black-and-white "extreme close up" surprise.

From exploring colder waters to the dangers of warmer ones, here's a close call from down under. Listen for the muffled cry of "SHARK!" as the diver realizes the peril he's in with the big fish on his line and the bigger creature taking interest below them.

Street performers know that if they want to connect to their audiences, especially in busy cities, they must offer an interactive experience. Watch what happens when this toddler dances to this percussive busker's renditions of all your favourite club hits.

From the "That fence is there for a reason, son" file, this report shows some Toronto-area teens ignoring the zoo's warnings in the pursuit of, yes, polar bear selfies.

This ice-bound climber had the elements to contend with, not bears, and managed to hang on with one arm when he got stuck in a crevice and had to crawl out with one broken arm while on an expedition in the Himalayas. Lucky for us, he captured the trying experience on video.

And another timelapse that caught our attention this week documents an incredible light show in the sky. Check out "Fire Painting."

And as a bonus, here's an incredible moment: a man catching a baby who falls out of a window, captured by CCTV cameras in China.
