Must-see videos of the week: May 24

From an incredible reunion in Oklahoma caught on live video to a couple of late-night TV hosts poking fun at Canada's favourite mayor, we've seen some great videos this week. Here are some of our favourites:

1. Owner, dog reunited on camera

With all of the devastation that took place this week in Oklahoma, this incredible reunion between a beleaguered woman and her dog was a bright moment in an other wise dark time for the town of Moore. And the fact that the woman found her dog on live television made it all the more memorable. Click here to learn more about how you can help the victims of devastating Oklahoma tornado.

2. Toronto Mayor Rob Ford mocked on The Daily Show

Embattled Toronto Mayor Rob Ford garnered international attention late last week when two media organizations reported viewing video of Ford smoking from a crack pipe. The bizarre story caught the eye of late-night TV hosts Jon Stewart and Jimmy Kimmel, and the two didn't hold back any punches. And after days of silence, Ford has finally addressed the allegations, but this story won't go away any time soon. Stay tuned, folks!

3. Morgan Freeman falls asleep during interview

Academy award-winning actor Morgan Freeman must have had a rough night before doing this interview with his Now You See Me costar Michael Caine. Either that or Freeman is as bored with Caine's rambling as we were. The star of hit films such as Seven and The Shawshank Redemption struggles to keep his head up and eyes open, yet he amazingly springs to life just in time to answer a question posed directly to him. Here's hoping Now You See Me isn't a snoozer as well.

4. Bay Area Teen's Research Takes Science World By Storm

Eesha Khare plans to be "setting the world on fire." And in case of this 18-year-old, it really isn't an overstatement. Khare, a senior at a California high school, has invented a device that fits inside a cell phone battery and can be charged within seconds. No wonder she's one of two runners up in this year's Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. We see some big job offers in this inventor's future.

5. NASA sees brightest impact on the moon on record

Take a look at the spot of the brightest meteor impact ever recorded on the moon's surface by NASA. A fireball that hit the moon caused an explosion roughly equivalent to five tons of TNT, it was 10 times brighter than any other lunar impact NASA's seen.
