‘Naughty’ elf upstages Obama family in Christmas photo

Kids will be kids — even when taking photos with the president.

On Sunday evening, President Barack Obama and his family attended the 32nd annual Christmas in Washington concert, a benefit hosted by Hugh Jackman for the Children's National Health System.

Before the concert began, the first family helped collect gifts for Washington's Children's National Medical Center and met with five of the hospital's young patients, who were all dressed as elves.

After working with the four- and five-year-old elves to place presents under the tree — "Good job, elves," the president said — the Obamas posed for a photo with the adorable little helpers in red.

When Michelle Obama suggested that the photographers make funny faces to entertain the children, one little elf took the funny faces as a cue to make his own, cracking up the president's family and stealing hearts worldwide.

Christmas just isn't Christmas without someone making a silly face for the camera.
