The Daily BuzzOnline daters vote Mountie uniforms fourth-sexiest in North America
Survey says: Mountie uniforms are among the sexiest on the continent.
The Toronto Sun reports users of UniformDating.com voted the scarlet tunics of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police the fourth-sexiest in North America.
According to 1,000 users of the dating website, which connects "singles in uniform" with their admirers, there's something irresistible about men and women in red shirts and wide-brimmed hats.
Or is it the pants?
Either way, some singles aren't buying the bumbling Dudley Do-Right Mountie persona of cartoon fame, with his tendency to ride horses backward — they think a real Mountie has sex appeal. Or they voted as a joke.

The uniforms ranked in the top five, according to the Ottawa Citizen, were the California Highway Patrol, Texas State Troopers, New York Police Department, the RCMP and the Florida Highway Patrol.
The California Highway Patrol's apparently seductive dress uniform includes tan pants, a tan hat and a forest green shirt.
RCMP uniforms were designed with a nod to our British colonial past after parliament established the national police force in 1873. The outfits include a felt hat, a brown belt with a holster, grown gloves, Strathcona boots and a touch of je ne sais quoi.
