Here's a lesson in snack hack 101: Oreos will pretty much taste delicious in anything.

So, Oreo has decided to use that idea to their full advantage. They’ve launched the ‘Snack Hack’ initiative and asked Chef Nguyen Tran, founder of Starry Kitchen, to put his own spin the classic Oreo cookie treat. Starry Kitchen, the Pan-Asian restaurant that began as a joke in Tran's small apartment, is a now a huge success in downtown Los Angeles.

In this video of "Starry Kitchen Hacks The Corner Store", Tran whips down to the local corner store and picks up just four simple ingredients: Oreos, diet cherry soda (gotta watch that figure, you know), pound cake, and peanuts.

All delicious ingredients on their own, but mixed together? Even better!

Tran soaks the cookies in the cherry soda so that they create a thick, creamy consistency. He then chops up the bread and crushes the peanuts. He adds everything together in a bowl to mix, and voila! Instant Oreo bread pudding.

The soggy cookie creation looks more like a stoner’s dream than an appetizing dessert, but the crowd seems to really enjoy it.

"Mmm … that cherry flavour and the Oreos, yummy," said one Tran's lucky 'Snack Hack' taste-testers.
