Orphaned pair are the cutest odd couple

The sitcom basically writes itself here.

There’s an adorable new duo at The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya, and they will absolutely melt your heart.

Meet best friends Kiko and Loboito.

Kiko, a one-month-old giraffe, was found alone and brought to the trust by Kenya Wildlife Service when he was a week old. Shortly after, he was joined by a three-week-old bull elephant named Loboito.

In the video by Barcroft TV, the youngsters appear to be inseparable, with Loboito never far behind older (by a whole week) and wiser Kiko.

The video explains that the pair will eventually be split up when they are older and have learned enough to return to the wild.

In a perfect world, these two will meet as adults, like a much less tragic Fox and the Hound situation.
