One hundred lucky Canadian consumers are about to see that dream fulfilled. They have a special bottle of perfume on the way as a gift from an unlikely sender — Pizza Hut Canada.
The Canadian arm of the pizza company has actually developed a perfume as a promotional gimmick. Pizza Hut, owned by Yum Brands Inc, posted an image to its Facebook Page of the clear bottle with a sleek design and the company's logo printed sideways.

"It's finally here! The Pizza Hut perfume has been designed, formulated and shipped out to the lucky 100 people who won a bottle," the post says.
The image has hundreds of likes and comments. That kind of social media attention is what started the idea off in the first place, according to the Globe and Mail.
Pizza Hut posted an image of a perfume bottle bearing its logo in August — still hypothetical then — as a cheeky way to start discussion on the page.
"Do you love the smell of a box of Pizza Hut pizza being opened?" the post said, "We thought so. If that smell was a perfume, what would it be called?"
In rolled the jokes, with suggestions for names such as "Grease Lightning," "Devour," and "Peperōne." Many users declared their disgust at the idea, nonetheless adding to the volume of responses.

The perfume smells like "fresh dough with a bit of spice," according to the Globe and Mail. The company's marketing director joked that she hopes no one's girlfriend gets it for Christmas.
