Police respond to domestic abuse call to find man attacking spider

Man's Noisy Spider Battle Sparks Police Calls

Police in New South Wales, Australia, were prepared for the worst when they thought they were responding to a violent domestic incident.

Only what they found was not that.

After receiving numerous calls with reports of a man heard yelling: “I’m going to kill you, you’re dead! Die Die!!” Along with a woman heard “screaming hysterically” and furniture being tossed around the home, the New South Wales Police Force quickly responded.

They rushed to the scene and started banging on the door.

“Where’s your wife?” Police asked the man.

He replied: “umm I don’t have one.”

“Where’s your girlfriend?” The police then asked.

Again the male replied: “umm I don’t have one.”

“We had a report of a domestic and a women screaming, where is she?” The police asked to which the man answered: “I don’t know what you’re talking about I live alone.”

It turns out the man was fighting a spider, “a really big one,” and the woman heard screaming was him, as he chased the eight-legged critter around his unit.

Naturally, there was a long pause before some laughter was shared.

Before leaving, the police quickly looked around the man’s home to make sure no one else injured, apart from the poor spider.

Let’s hope the spider’s relatives were nowhere in the vicinity.
