Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall shows silly side with blooper reel

During campaign time, we are used to seeing perfectly polished leaders touting what they will do, but getting to that point takes a long time, at least for Saskatchewan premier Brad Wall.

Earlier this week, Wall and his party released a blooper reel on YouTube of outtakes from last fall's provincial election TV ads.

During the minute and a half video that pokes fun at the new leader, Wall messes up line after line while laughing at his mistakes. He beat boxes, admits to spitting and tells the crew they can just blame him because he doesn't mind.

"From Tami, our kids and me, thank you to our Saskatchewan Party candidates, members and supporters for their continued encouragement and kindness," writes Wall on the YouTube video page. "To you, and everyone else, here is a special video that hopefully helps start your 2012 with a smile."

Wall said his family got a huge kick out of it so his eldest, Megan, did a quick survey on Facebook and all of her friends wanted to see the video. So they decided to post it.

"Obviously there are much more important issues that we'll be talking about, but it's important that we take our jobs seriously, but not ourselves," Wall said in a Regina Leader-Post article. "

Wall led the Saskatchewan Party to a landslide victory in the November provincial election. He was first elected as a member of the Legislative Assembly in 1999 and became leader of the official opposition in 2004. The Saskatchewan Party now controls 49 of 58 seats in the province.
