Teen gets McDonald’s receipt tattooed on his forearm

Sure, we’ve all seen some outrageous tattoos.

This Norwegian teen, however, might take the cake for his latest in permanent ink.

18-year-old Stian Ytterdahl from Lørenskog got his McDonald's receipt tattooed on his forearm, Gawker reports. That’s right, his receipt.

The teen, who friends say is “a little too active” with the ladies, was he had to choose between two tattoos; 1. A Barbie tattoo on his buttocks or 2. A tattoo of his McDonald’s receipt on his forearm.

Hmm…tough choice. A Barbie tattoo, on my butt, where I can easily hide it so no one knows, or the receipt of what I ate today permanently inked on my forearm. A no-brainer, right?

The teen decided on the latter, and the tattoo parlour who inked Ytterdahl, Sabelink Tattoo, posted the above photo and caption to their Facebook page.

Unsurprisingly, Sabelink Tattoo said that it was the strangest tattoo they’d ever done. But they then asked him if he would mind if they tattooed their receipt on his other arm — for free — and he agreed!

“Now I’m a living billboard,” Ytterdahl told Romereskes Blad, a Norwegian newspaper.

McDonald’s is obviously “lovin’ it”. After assuring consumers that it is not a publicity stunt, a spokeswoman for McDonald’s Norway said they think it’s terrific. “We’re obviously talking about a loyal customer,” she added.

Ytterdahl admits it’s all for fun, even though it might not be so fun when he’s 50 or 60 years old. Who knows? By that age his McDonald’s tattoo may just look like a crinkled up receipt that, unfortunately, he can’t throw away. Hopefully by then he’s still “lovin’ it.”
