If you find someone in Indianapolis with that overpowering “man scent”, you might have found the Axe thief.

On Saturday, a pallet of Axe shower gel, famed for its advertising campaign based on its ability to lure women, was stolen after someone broke into the trailer of a semi truck that was parked on Indianapolis’ east side, IndyStar reports.

According to an Indianapolis Police Department report, there was 3,600 bottles of the stuff of the pallet — about $18,000 worth of Axe. That’s 3,600 men who won’t get to experience the “Axe effect”. Then again, who really wants all those girls chasing after you, hypnotized by the sensual scent…

The theft was reported by the trucking manager at 1:11 p.m. on Sunday when he realized someone had broken into the truck.

This is not the first time that a truck in this Arrow Trucking parking lot has been broken into, either.

A manager at U.S. Way, which owns the trailer, said even though there have been incidents there in the past, this is the first time he recalls anyone getting away with a theft.

Someone even appeared to have broken into one of the trailers on Sunday night, but it was empty.

Business operators using the Arrow Trucking lot are looking to increase security at the lot, possibly installing better fences and tighter security.

There are no suspects in the case of the stolen Axe products.

So if you pick up the scent, and suddenly find the urge to rip off the shirt of the guy sitting next to you at the bar, just remember: You might be assaulting the Axe thief.
