This bear in a swimming pool knows how to have fun

Bruiser the bear really loves water, but he hasn’t yet figured out the art of surfing.

The 18-month-old Syrian brown bear lives at the Single Vision Animal sanctuary - a non-profit organization that protects wildlife from illegal poaching and habitat destruction – in Melrose, Florida. He also loves playing in the pool every day,

In a recent video posted by the organization on YouTube, the adorable brown bear is seen climbing the ladder in an above ground pool and jumping into the water, where a surfboard is already floating. He lays his paws on the board before getting out of the pool.

Bruiser attempts it a second time. He shakes off the water and then quickly goes back into the pool. His nearby companion, Honey Bear, seems completely uninterested but is happy just watching her pal swim.

In the end, Bruiser didn’t manage to get onto the board but the cute video is sure to put a smile on anyone’s face, including the two million that already watched.

The fun-loving bear was born in 2014 and he hasn’t yet reached his intended goal weight, which is about 600 lbs. Bruiser serves as an animal ambassador for the organization. According to his profile, the bear loves swimming, tearing up boxes and standing up on his back legs and walking.

Bruiser is a bear of many talents. He’s definitely mastered the art of cooling off in the summer and he looks like the happiest bear doing it.
