A time capsule opened at a Toronto high school contains a message directly to The Donald that’s 25 years in the making.

Georges Vanier high school recently unveiled a time capsule that was first sealed inside a locker by a group of students in 1991, reports BuzzFeed.

After opening the locker to examine the contents, school principal Tamara Grealis found a poster covered in messages for 2016.

One particular message that stood out featured a question from the past that is eerily applicable to present day politics.

“Donald Trumph [sic] Are You Still Alive!,” the message reads.

Not only is Trump still alive, but the business mogul is actually the Republican Party’s presumed nominee for the upcoming 2016 United States Presidential election.

Principal Grealis told BuzzFeed that as soon as they saw the message the crowd gathered erupted into cheers.

“They just laughed hysterically when the Trump thing came up…. Who would have thought in 1991 that he’d be running for [president]?”

Trump is no stranger to attention.

Way back in 1991, the flamboyant businessman turned politician made headlines for everything from multi-million dollar divorces to high-profile bankruptcy proceedings.

More recently, Trump has been known for his many often outrageous statements made on the campaign trail, as well as surprisingly beating out all of his opponents for the GOP Presidential nomination.

No word yet on if the school will be making another time capsule, but if Trump does become the next U.S. President there may not be anyone around to open it up in 25 years anyway.
