Tourist captures rare footage of iceberg flipping

A tourist in Argentina has captured some rare and amazing footage of an iceberg flipping over.
The tourist was on a boat near the Upsala Glacier when the huge mass of ice suddenly popped above the water.

"While we were passing by it with a catamaran, the huge berg lost a part of itself (look at the right side sinking) and then flipped over with a huge roar," reads the YouTube description. "In the process of melting this happens all the time, but it is seldom that it is captured on video."

According to the Daily Mail, the icebergs flip because they become unbalanced after melting and changing shape. While this isn't that uncommon, it's rare to see it on video.

The glacier near where this video is shot is about 60-kilometres long, but scientists say it's disappearing by about 200 metres a year.
