Utah students fly off cliff from massive Slip ‘n Slide

If you are finding summer too relaxing or too boring, some students at Utah State University have just the thing to cool you down and get your heart racing.

They are cruising down a 12 metre (40 foot) Slip 'n Slide that ends at the edge of a 10 metre (35 foot) cliff. From there they launch off the cliff and into the lake below, occasionally pulling tricks in the air or just 'rolling up the windows.'

According to the YouTube page, the cliff jumping at Hyrum Dam is one of the hidden secrets at Utah State in Logan.

"Turns out, this gets a lot funner when you put a 40 foot slip slide up to the edge!" reads the page.

The video starts like a scene out of "1000 Ways To Die", but then we see that the guy throws a huge back flip, the music picks up and everyone seems to be having a good time.

It has so far been viewed almost half a million times.

The video is produced by Indie Pictures, LLC, who posted a picture of the cliff on their Facebook page telling people they would be doing the event.

"On June 2nd a grip of crazy kids will be flying down a 40 foot slip slide over a cliff to a 30 foot drop into this lake. No big deal," it read.

We're guessing none of these kids read about how the Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends the toy for children only because there is a risk of back and knee injuries when used by teenagers or adults.
