Very pregnant woman busts moves to 'Baby Momma' song

A new trend has emerged in the world of pregnancy that involves busting some serious dance moves with your belly out and posting those moves to social media.

Fans of the trend will be pleased to know that pregnant dancing has a new poster girl — and she hit the dance floor while she was ready to pop.

That poster girl, a mom-to-be named Leah Franklin, dances and lip-syncs in a three-minute YouTube video titled, “Do that baby mama.”

Her song of choice? “The Baby Momma Dance,” by Cameron J. Henderson, aka The King of Weird. With lyrics like, “Pregnant but I’m still doing moves like Beyonce,” it’s not hard to see why Franklin picked the track.

As she dances, a man we assume is the dad pops into frame to lip-sync the song’s male vocals. Then he dances away again, only to return in a series of different outfits. The video was posted on February 2 by user “Sammie R ox” and has been viewed more than 700,000 times.

Franklin’s moves are impressive, but she’s far from the first to showcase her pregnant dance moves. Just last month, a mom named Ambz Shi Murphy dancing her way through labour in New Zealand, reports Popsugar.com. That video has more than a million views, and dozens of encouraging comments, confirming that people love dancing pregnant ladies.

As for Franklin, she recently posted an update: her baby boy was born on February 4 – just two days after the video was filmed.
