Video shows pilots’ incredible landing amid severe turbulence

Comin’ in hot! Kudos to the pilots who safely landed this plane amid the turbulence that nearly takes out its landing gear entirely.

This video shows an unstable aircraft coming in for a landing, but looks more like a young fledgling's first attempt at flight.

The plane, which seems to have trouble stabilizing itself as it approaches the runway, looks as if it might be in for a crash landing, when it miraculously lowers itself safely onto the ground — though the word "safely" is used loosely as it could have been so much worse.

The landing gear, however, is definitely in worse condition than the passengers, as one of the wheels looks as if it almost blew out completely.

You’ve got to hand it to the pilot, because it could not have been easy to land this giant aircraft safely in those conditions.

You can only imagine what the passengers are feeling as the weight of the plane shifts precariously from left to right, and with the possibility of mass panic on board, this pilot deserves a real pat on the back.

If the worst thing that happened on this flight is a dodgy landing, then passengers on board should thank their lucky stars for a pilot who clearly knew what he was doing.

And hey, at least was able to find land for his daring landing! Need we be reminded of the terrifying emergency landing on the Hudson River in 2009? The US airways flight 1549 struck a flock of Canada Geese during its initial climb and crash-landed into the Hudson River, with a casualty toll of zero. Yes, zero!

Now that’s impressive!

Next time you on board an aircraft, you might want to listen a little more closely when the stewardesses are giving their whole "safety spiel" before your flight ascends…after all, not every pilot can do what these guys did. I think they deserve a raise!
