Weatherman has uncontrollable giggle-fit on air

A Buffalo weatherman had an on-air giggle fit.

Due to the extended winter we’ve had in Canada this year, the weather reports have made us do anything but laugh.

But for Andy Parker, the weatherman at WGRZ in Buffalo, Tuesday’s hilarious forecast was non-stop laughter, with a high of embarrassment and a slight chance of unemployment.

Before his weather report even begins, something off camera sets off his giggle fit, and Parker is in stitches. Barely able to get his words out, Parker had to walk off camera several times to regain his composure … something easier said than done. He just keeps laughing. And it’s impossible not to laugh along with him.

“Just thinkin’ about a joke,” says Parker, through his fits of laughter, while the news anchors poke fun at his red face.

At one point a co-anchor comes over to massage his shoulders while Parker tries to dry his laughter tears and pull himself together.

It’s hilarious, and though some may argue unprofessional, sometimes we all need a little laughing fit in our lives.

Parker finally begins to report the actual weather, but he only gets to Wednesday’s forecast before he starts to fall apart again, and the laughter resumes.

“This could be the longest three minutes of my day right now,” Parker says, and he’s probably right.

Okay, we’d really like to hear the punch line of the joke now…
