Canadian spring is kind of like a joke in itself, but those who don’t live in the great north don’t know what we have to deal with during the most confusing season of the year.

You’d expect winter to be done when spring starts, right? Well, sorry, ice storms and mixed precipitation is in the forecast, sprinkled in with some truly nice days to confuse the body’s natural defense mechanisms. The risk for catching a cold in April is very real.

One Canadian in particular discovered that his steep driveway now had a fresh coat of ice on it due to freezing rain last week, and he was now unable to get into his house.

So he did what any irritated Canuck would do: He texted his buddy throughout the whole ordeal, and later uploaded the conversation to Imgur under the username “ITProfessional.”

Of course, since this is Canada and our weather is bananas, the conversation has since gone viral.

Just to warn you, the conversation does contain graphic language.

So the two try to find a solution to the guy’s very Canadian problem.

Let’s ignore how redundant “LMAO dude I’m laughing my ass off” is and continue with the story.

Does he get in the house? The conclusion of our caper:

Still want to come to Canada all you Trump fearing Americans? The door is open, though it may be frozen shut.
