Woman takes out ad at gas station to dump boyfriend on Valentine’s Day
One British man must have had a rough Valentine's Day yesterday when he walked to his regular lunch spot only to find out via billboard that his girlfriend had dumped him.
Jordan D. Wilson tweeted an image of the sign, apparently from someone named 'Laura' to Dan, saying she was leaving him.

This has to be the meanest dump ever. Not such a great Valentine's day for the man in question here... twitter.com/JordanDWilson/…

The ad was displayed on an Amscreen at an Esso garage in Manchester, according to the Daily Mail, and its harsh message has been circulating the web ever since.
Dan, I'm leaving you for Gary.
Your clothes are at your mum's & I've changed the locks.
Sorry to do this on Valentine's Day.
Laura
Well, that's one way to send a message. Many online are calling the ad cruel and mean-spirited, especially on Valentine's Day.

However, Amscreen is cashing in on the attention. One of the company's owners, Simon Sugar, used Laura's breakup ad as leverage to Tweet about how to rent a screen.

Plus, no one has ruled out the possibility that Gary bought the ad as a joke on a friend — and the two of them are having quite a laugh right now at having tricked the world.
