Worst mom ever?: Daughter terrified by ‘screaming ghoul’ prank

A mom decided to pull a prank after her daughter told her she wasn’t afraid of anything.

but not everyone online finds it funny and some are even calling it cruel.

In the short clip, the little girl is standing in front of the TV screen, watching a DVD her mom just put in. At first it appears to be showing green fields with melodic music playing and the girls seems unsuspicious.

All of sudden, a screeching zombie-like figure pops up on the screen.

The girl jumps backwards and falls over onto the carpet, then quickly gets up and runs off camera towards her mom, who is laughing and filming.

The original video was posted by the mother, Milian Lee, who set up the prank in order to scare her daughter, Mirror reports.

The video has received some mixed opinions on Facebook and was viewed more than 300,000 times in just a few hours.

“I must be a terrible mother because I thought that was hilarious,” one user commented.

Another one wrote: “That’s one way to stop them watching TV too much.”

But not everyone saw the humorous side.

“Why would you want to instill fear into your child. Idiot!!” one user wrote.

Another commented. “Dreadful! Not funny at all. Contact the child in 10 years time and I’m sure it will have some physiological effect. Truly bad parenting and the fact that adults are sniggering in the background is disgusting!”
