It's Halloween season and a pair of YouTube pranksters were serving up some zombie pizza this week.

Jesse Wellens and Jennifer Smith of PrankvsPrank set up a trick table stacked with hollow pizza boxes in Philadelphia to lure pedestrians who couldn't resist the offer of free food. But when the victims opened the lid to grab a slice, they realized something else was lurking inside the box, looking to make their brains a meal.

One girl who caught onto the prank early refused to open the box, but zombies don't give up easily.

The video has been viewed more than 600,000 times since it was uploaded on Tuesday.

Totinos sponsored the prank and the perpetrators gave out the company's pizza snacks to console their victims.

Another Halloween prank in Oklahoma is achieving its goal of terrifying the neighbours: one of them called 911 thinking they were seeing a real crime scene. News9 reported Johnnie Mullins sprawled a dummy covered in blood near his garage door in Mustang, Okla., as part of his elaborate Halloween display.

The dummy, which appears to be wearing blue sneakers and jeans, looks as though its head has been crushed by the garage door, and some neighbours told the news outlet it was far too gruesome for kids to see.

Mullins told News9 he added another body to the driveway that looks like it was crushed by his truck.
