Toronto Mayor Rob Ford to arm wrestle Hulk Hogan

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is set to take on his largest challenge to date. Largest in terms of body size, anyway.

Ford has challenged Hulk Hogan to an arm wrestling competition, to be held Friday morning while the wrestling legend is in town for a public event.

Hogan is set to appear at an "intimate" appearance at Fan Expo Canada, held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The event, titled "Hogan Uncensored," will feature stories from behind the scenes as a wrestling superstar, actor and reality show disaster.

See how that works? A publicity stunt results in publicity. Few know that better than Hulk and Ford.

Ford's press secretary, Amin Massoudi, confirmed on Twitter, that the pair would hold the friendly match Friday morning.

I can confirm that @TOMayorFord will in fact arm wrestle Hulk Hogan tomorrow morning at 10 am. #Toronto

This must be a thrill for Ford, who has managed to rub shoulders with plenty of athletes, such as the Toronto Argonauts and former boxer George Chuvalo, during his time in office.

One wonders what the pair will end up talking about. Video recording devices, perhaps?

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, appears less concerned about the arm wrestling appearance, and more focused on what shoes he will wear during his trip to Canada.

But don't let his calm demeanor fool you, Ford.

Hogan has a history of taking "friendly" competition too seriously.
