Vasek Pospisil and Jack Sock continue run, reach Indian Wells doubles final

INDIAN WELLS – One of the hardest things to do in tennis, after you post a big win, is to back it up.

Thursday night, Canadian Vasek Pospisil and his American partner, Jack Sock, unexpectedly found themselves the featured match in the night session at the BNP Paribas Open, after Bernard Tomic of Australia withdrew from his scheduled singles match against world No. 1 Novak Djokovic.

They faced the favorites, the legendary Bryan brothers. And they defeated them in straight sets.

Less than 24 hours later, they found themselves back on the stadium court, moments after Pospisil's countryman Milos Raonic had finished off an upset win over Rafael Nadal, against more of a no-name team. And they were the favorites this time around.

No problem. Pospisil and Sock defeated Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia and Marcin Matkowski of Poland 6-4, 3-6, [10-6] to advance to the doubles final.

The reigning Wimbledon champions will meet the reigning Australian Open champions, the unseeded pair of Fabio Fognini and Simone Bolelli of Italy.

Here's what they had to say about it.
