How to make your morning commute better: Dance.

Peter Sharp of Perth, Australia, recently did just that, bringing a flash mob dance party to unsuspecting strangers on a train.

Dressed in a tuxedo, Sharp made a short announcement about his fun intentions, then started dancing to James Brown’s “I Got You (I Feel Good).”

On his blog, Sharp wrote that he hoped the dance party would inspire commuters to “no longer feel afraid or anxious about starting conversations on trains.”

"If we can start a party, what’s stopping you from starting a conversation?" the video asks.

"What we’re gonna do on Saturday is gonna mark a turning point from fear-based public spaces to love-based public spaces," Sharp said in a video announcing the dance party.

"On the train, it’s like this crazy void in space and time…where people just disconnect from life and the opportunities that are just sitting right next to them."

"It will be through the joyous movements of dance and play that we will broaden minds, broaden perspectives as to what is really possible each and every single day."

Earlier this year, a Calgary man made headlines for giving strangers high-fives on the C-train, hoping to make their day.

And in April of 2013, Irish musicians and a dancer entertained commuters on a Dublin train.

"Last Friday evening, I planned a quiet train journey home — complete with book & coffee. It didn’t quite work out that way, as I had the pleasure of sharing a carriage with this very talented group of lads celebrating a stag night in Galway," wrote YouTube uploader Tanya Comber. “The celebrations started early, and what unfolded was an amazing Irish traditional session AND one incredible dancer… watch what happens! Totally heartwarming, but I guess not so good for train furniture.”
