Audri Clemmons, 7, builds awesome Rube Goldberg monster trap

A young enthusiastic engineer is becoming a YouTube sensation thanks to his monster trap, built Rube Goldberg-style.

Audri Clemmons, 7, designed and built the impressive machine below, taking notes and making modifications. Like any good engineer, Audri anticipated failure and charted his progress recording each of his efforts on video.

As Boing Boing's Cory Doctorow put it, "He is made of pure distillate of awesomesauce."

Audri isn't new to the Rube Goldberg scene. He build his first machine when he was barely 5 years old, the age when most of us were just learning to build simple LEGO towers.
