Baby elephant meets cat for the first time, is notably unimpressed

At Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand, a baby elephant named Navann spotted a cat for the first time.

At first, Navann walked past it, as if he didn't notice the orange feline.

Just moments later, however, the "fearless" baby elephant returned to better check out the strange creature.

Unimpressed with the small furry animal — and maybe just a little scared? — Navann kicked the air in the cat's direction and wandered off.

The cat didn't seem bothered by the elephant's dismissal one bit.

Elephant Nature Park is an elephant rescue and rehabilitation centre in Northern Thailand.

Last month, we shared a video from the park of an elephant dozing off to the sound of a lullaby.

Earlier this year at the San Diego Zoo, a 41-year-old elephant named Mila met another elephant for the first time in 37 years:

And this little Asian elephant knows how to make the most of a hot summer: pool party!

Of course, a pool is nothing compared splashing around in the ocean for the first time.
