Leaving your wallet on the bus usually results in a minor panic attack and possibly losing important personal information forever.

For one Calgary man, the former could not have been more true.

Yesterday morning, Robert Dover panicked when he got off the bus to grab a coffee and realized he didn’t have his wallet with him.

He left his wallet with “everything in there” on the bus.

But the possibility of not retrieving it was proven wrong by none other than the bus driver himself.

Syed Shah knew its owner would be worried when he found the wallet on his bus.

So later that day, the transit bus driver showed up at Dover’s doorstep to personally return it.

“I was a little floored,” Dover told Metro News. “I was grateful for it.”

According to Metro News, Dover immediately reported his missing wallet to Calgary Transit and even checked their lost and found.

But it wasn’t there.

So, he decided to check at home just in case he left there. As he was about to cancel all his credit cards, something unexpected happened.

Dover heard a knock on his door and when he opened it there was the bus driver standing with his wallet.

For Shah, it’s wasn’t an inconvenience. He was just making sure that he was “doing the right thing.”

But Dover was left stunned.

“It’s pretty amazing he would go above and beyond for someone he doesn’t know,” Dover said.

Shah definitely gets an excellent feedback for his customer service.
