Cop and daughter have adorable tea party, Internet rejoices

We all have our pre-work rituals, from an early morning workout to a steaming mug of coffee to hitting the snooze button.

For one Florida deputy, spending time with his daughter before work is a sweeter kind of call of duty.

Adam Dillman, a deputy officer with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, joined his daughter for a backyard tea party before heading to work and the resulting photo is melting hearts everywhere.

“This photo is a great reminder that deputies are human beings,” the sheriff’s office posted on its Facebook page.

“They are fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters … they have families at home that are praying for their safety every day.”

Since it was posted last week, the photo has been shared more than 1000 times on Facebook and has almost 2000 likes.

“I said it before [that] it doesn’t matter how big and bad you are… If you are invited to tea time you go to tea time,” Facebook user Josch Jurczak commented on the photo.
