‘Dancing queen’ entertains while waiting for the bus

Ellie Cole, 34, really loves to dance.

Every day, the British secretary taps her toes and moves to the beat as she listens to music at the bus stop. Her dance routines have made her a local celebrity in Eastleigh, Hants, England — and now an Internet sensation.

Watch Cole wait for the bus below:

Jane Rowland and Nigel Baker, who own a cafe across from the bus stop, captured Cole dancing on camera.

"We saw this great lady dancing opposite my cafe every day and thought she was simply lovely," Rowland said. "Everyone around here knows about her and drivers beep their appreciation for her moves as they go past. She has no problems dancing away and is an inspiration to us all."

Rowland added that the simple video has been cheering up people all over the world:

"People watching it in America have said it's been the first thing to make them smile after the horrendous attack in Boston at the weekend."

"I have my headphones in every day on the way back from work and I just can’t help myself — I just dance," Cole told the Daily Echo after receiving international attention for her fun moves. "My mum thinks I’m bonkers. But I’m a normal 34-year-old woman who just loves to dance."

While Baker put Cole's moves to ABBA's "Dancing Queen," Cole says her dance in the gone-viral video was actually to "Knock Down" by Alesha Dixon.

"I chose a soundtrack of 'Dancing Queen' by ABBA as it seemed so appropriate, though I had no idea what she was really humming," Baker admitted.
