Woman trying to track down stranger who took care of her while she had a seizure on a train

A 27-year-old student who was travelling from Redhill in Surrey, England to London Victoria is trying to find the man who took care of her while she fell ill on a train.

Ellie Farnfield woke up dazed and confused. Alone in a train station that was not her departure or arrival point, the 27-year-old found herself completely void of how she got to where she was.

Thankfully, Tom was there.

It turns out Farnfield had suffered a seizure on the train. “Tom” found her on the floor and immediately responded to the situation. He got Farnfield off the train and placed her in the care of transit staff. He left her money for a cab and notified her family of the situation, but most importantly, he explained what happened to her.

Eleanor,

I hope by the time you read this you are feeling better. You had a seizure on the train and I took you off. You didn’t hit your head but I may have hurt your leg as I walked on it before realizing you were on the floor having a fit! Sorry!

I’m also sorry I can’t stay with you now - but here is a coffee to perk you up later and £10 to make sure you get a taxi home.Sorry I don’t have anymore money so I hope you don’t live far away. I’ve contacted people from your phone and medical help is on its way and you’re with train staff.Wishing you all the best and a quick recovery.

Love Tom.

Farnfield has taken to social media to find the mysterious Tom, saying pints will be on her if she ever runs into her good Samaritan while she’s conscious. People everywhere want to know who #TrainTom is.
