Why can't we all just get along?

Dogs Max and Archie have never met, but they have one thing in common: friendships with felines.

Max, a cattle dog, recently befriended Ralphee the kitten, who was born with the neurological disorder known as feline cerebellar hypoplasia. Because the part of her brain that controls fine motor skills and coordination was underdeveloped at birth, the kitten's walk is a wobbly one.

Ralphee was rescued from a horse stable. The cute kitten and Max have been inseparable ever since.

According to Adam Cox of Wakaleo Animal Channel, "Ever since Ralphee was brought home, Max is never far away. He appears to be forever curious and watches over Ralphee wherever she goes. Ralphee is growing more mischievous by the day and loves to see what Max is doing as well. She will often get excited when he is nearby and leap in the air before playfully charging in his direction."

In Santa Cruz County, California, Archie the dog takes care of four abandoned kittens.

Archie's owner, Diana Wilson, is an SPCA foster parent and welcomed the kittens into her home until permanent homes could be found for them.

She was surprise to find her dog taking care of them, trying to help her bathe and groom them.

"It's great for the kittens, too, because now they're socialized with dogs," Wilson told KSBW Action News 8.

"There's no loss of love in this house. All the dogs love the kittens, and Archie in particular is just very sweet with them."
