He was born with no forearms — but he can still hold his own on the drums.

Taylor Hawkins would be proud.

"To anyone that has given up learning a new skill because 'it's too hard,' I'd just like to remind you that your excuses are invalid," one YouTube viewer wrote.

"In the video's description, Hrisca-Munn calls himself a 'disabled drummer,' but the general consensus of his viewers seems to be, if this is what disability looks like, than the word has truly lost all meaning," writes Gawker's Neetzan Zimmerman.

Cornel Hrisca-Munn was born with no forearms and a severely deformed right leg. His mother abandoned him as an infant — doctors assumed he would die within days and didn't bother to issue a birth certificate — leaving him to die at a Romanian orphanage, the Telegraph reported.

Against all odds, Cornel managed to gain weight and attract the attention of a visiting doctor. Following some much-needed medical attention, he was adopted into a loving home in England and started to thrive — and rock.

By the age of 14, he was the runner-up in a national drumming competition. He also plays the bass.

Now studying philosophy and theology at Oxford, the talented 22-year-old is still making music and defying expectations.

"I love the sense of community at Oxford, and have joined a variety of groups such as the Christian Union and the jazz orchestra, where I play the drums," he told the Telegraph in 2010.

"The workload came as a shock, not only the volume but also the standard, which is incredibly high. But I can't tell you how privileged I feel to be here among so many astonishing minds and incredibly interesting people."

"I don't let my physical disability stand in my way," he added. "I always find solutions to what I cannot do. I'm a fighter."
