Giant panda cuddles her baby back to sleep

This video from Taipei Zoo shows a baby panda, Yuan Zai, being put to bed by its mother Yuan Yuan. The cub struggles to make its way over to its mother, before the giant bear gently clasps it by the scruff of the neck and wraps it in its huge paws. The video was posted in October 2013. Regardless of species, little ones just don't want to go to sleep.

At Taipei Zoo, Yuan Yuan the giant panda dealt with 7-month-old Yuan Zai's disinterest in bedtime by picking up the youngster by the scruff and cuddling her back to sleep.
