Warning: If you occasionally cry at commercials, this one's a doozy.

Thai mobile-phone company TrueMove has released an ad more inspirational than most Hollywood films.

In it, a young boy, caught stealing medicine for his sick mom, is shown mercy and kindness. Thirty years later, he repays his good Samaritan in a big way that's sure to trigger viewers' tears.

The moving commercial has been viewed more than 7.6 million times since it was uploaded to YouTube last week.

"The tagline is, 'Giving is the best communication.' It's not entirely clear (at least in the ad) how that relates to a mobile company, but frankly, it doesn't need to. The buzz (and the vague hope that it will encourage random acts of kindness among viewers) is all that really matters," writes AdWeek's Rebecca Cullers.
