Mysterious ‘dapper’ stranger stepped in after woman was groped on bus

Crowd Lifts London Bus Off Injured Unicyclist

A woman has taken to social media to find the good samaritan who stepped in and helped while she was being allegedly groped by a man on a bus.

Kaitlyn Regehr, who is studying at King’s College in London, England, was travelling home on the 207 bus towards Acton when a man “grabbed” her earlier this week.

The 30-year-old woman took to Facebook to track down the mysterious “tall, dark and dapper” stranger, who stood up for her following the incident.

She posted a photo of herself on her page holding a sign that reads “thank you!” along with a tribute to the man.

“Thank you for insisting that it was not acceptable,” Regehr writes. “You didn’t turn away. You took a stand. You said something.”

She continued to thank the man for making a difference.

“You said, ‘she could be your sister. She is someone’s sister,’ and in doing so you made me a person,” Regehr writes.

According to the Mirror, Regehr has since reported the incident to the police.
